The only way I can get decent Wi-fi is to buy the most expensive plan. And it is still lacking. Video on Zoom and calls is really bad, low bandwidth. Their billing practices are awful! I had auto pay and HughesNet would send me an email with no billing info, the same day that they debited my account! I switched to paper billing, now I get an email,, the same day of the month as before, detailing my billing info and giving me about a month to pay. However, now the app doesn't work at all.

Had to move, my account was suspended for a month. Called to establish connection after finding a place. Before service was given back, auto pay debited my account. The tech was great. In 2 days time my account shows I used up almost ALL my data. I use my phone all the time and it doesn't have these performance issues. And have had many problems going on the app. I would've been better off going to the dentist having all my teeth removed. I will never ever recommend this product.

Worst damn internet I've ever invested in. It's as slow as the old dial-up days if not slower. Even with full data you can't hardly watch a video, or stream music without having to buffer a million times. The app is just as bad as their internet. Not worth the $90 a month for 30 gigabytes of data. If you're limited on options for internet in your area. There are far better choices than this. Do a little research, and stay far away from Hughes Net.
