These controls are atrocious. If there was a way to make it a regular dpad instead of a TouchPad, that'd be even remotely better. Not much, but it'd still be better. The special stages are made practically impossible due to these controls. Maybe it's my phone but they never do what I tell them to do and it just leaves me mad. Also, ads. After every other stage. As soon as you press the ad version, there's an ad. A little ridiculous for Sega but who knows. They may be selling out to Fruit Loops

The visual and audio aspects of this port are excellent to bad the same can't be said for the controlls wich can be clunky sonic will take a few seconds to jump or the whole screen will be effected by random lagging wich can last for almost a minute at times also the biggest flaw to me is the lack of off line play you have to be connected at all times to wifi or mobile data wich if you spend anytime outdoors or travel is a no go for your on the go games. Overall? Booboo! Do better people

Game pauses constantly when you use other buttons on a controller/keyboard causing the game to be unplayable even when you switch back to touch or go back to the menu to try again. I play with a controller and keyboard most of the time. If you play with touch then it works fine I guess. Otherwise its sonic 2 (with Ads if you don't fork up some money) with widescreen support, saves, and minor differences from the original. Also when you do have Ads, multiplayer is broken past 1 Ad.
