About this app

For the ancient Chinese, the universe was a spiritual machine, and the I Ching was a method for understanding its workings. It is based on the simple principle, supported by modern physics, that all things occurring in the universe at a particular moment in the space time continuum are intertwined. I Ching for Change leverages the location sensor and processor clock of your Android device as inputs to generate randomly each line of the I Ching hexagram.
If you press the Explanation Button, Google Gemini AI will be invoked to provide the meanings of either the Hexagram, or the Change. Note: this app is not a Google product, nor does Google endorse use of the app.
The cost is only US $1.01(binary for yang - yin - yang). At least half of all proceeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/aboutus/
The remainder will be used to develop new Spiritual Machines for Android

Instructions for Use
To cast a hexagram, press the Hexagram button.
To view the change precipitated by this instance of space time as captured in the Hexagram, press the Change button.
To read an explanation of either the Hexagram or Change, and the meaning of each line, press the Explanation button. This will invoke Google Gemini AI to formulate an explanation of each hexagram.
To go back and cast a new hexagram, click the Reset button.
