Unified alerts notification system. The app allows users to directly receive important information, via Apple and Google's Push Notification Service, that has been input by trusted delegates from an area's authorized personnel. Ranging from more common scenarios such as accidents on the highway or school closings to severe incidents like the previous "derecho" storm - Heads Up aims to keep the public safer and more informed with live information from trusted sources.

We do not require any personal information such as email or phone number. We also do not use geolocation or geofencing as to be very cognizant of your battery life.

If Heads Up! Community is not in your area, please let your officials know you'd like for them to use it!

It used to work really well, but now the notifications are inconsistent and the map stays cluttered with old info that doesn't get taken down

The concept is great, and it used to work great, but now I get every alert 17-20 times. I'll be u installing.

Love the app bit would like a way to delete all alerts at once.rather than one by one
