The application identifies tones in the range of small, single-line and double-line octaves. In the MIDI directory, this is the range C3-C6. The tuner tolerates quarter-tone deviations from the nominal frequency. The screen shows eight tones of one octave. The octave ranges are set automatically according to the pitch of the tone that is currently sounding or was last sounded. The current range is shown by the header icon on the right. Two screens can be used to display tones, switched by swiping horizontally:
Basic screen - Body scale
Tone tones are identified by a movable ruler that changes its color according to the pitch reached: fifth chord tones are red, other tones are blue, semitones are black. In addition, the pitch is shown by hand movements in sign language.
2nd screen - musical staff with tones written in a single-line octave. The change in range is recorded by changing the clef (tenor, octave).
The colored tone markers are also touch buttons (right side) that play the tones of the current range. When playing, the middle range (C4-C5) is preferred. The sound volume must be adjusted in Settings-Sounds-Media.
The use of a voice tuner in music education is described in the articles of the Music Education series on the RVP.cz Methodological Portal website
