The Leipzig Veterinary Congress and the vetexpo trade fair are organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Leipzig, the six chambers of veterinarians in the federal states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, and the Leipziger Messe GmbH. It is the largest advanced training event for veterinary medicine in German-speaking countries. Only here do veterinarians of all areas and other professional groups in the veterinary field receive a comprehensive range of services that focus on species-specific and interdisciplinary topics.
