Why use DeviceSeal?
1) DeviceSeal offers over 2500 different security settings, allowing the user to customize the availability of Microphone, Camera, Location (change GPS) and Screen recording.
2) Unique security modes for blocking/unblocking Microphone and/or Camera, allowing users to control the availability of Microphone /Camera.
3) DS has a unique - yet simple, GPS location blocker (change GPS) feature, which overwrites GPS location and still allows the user to share the real GPS location when needed, controlling sharing the location is very important to avoid tracking the user location. DS can strictly control when should the location be available for sharing and allows the user to white-list specific application.

5) Using the timer mode, to change between security modes allows the user to choose different mode for a specific duration every day.
6) DS can work in both manual mode (from the quick launch menu using Seal and unlock options) or an automated mode can be selected.
7) Using the Camera/Microphone white-listing features, will allow white-listing selected applications, just, click on the feature and wait till the list of applications is created (can take a couple of seconds) then choose the application that should be white-listed.
8) DeviceSeal uses the latest SW released by Google, It is always a good practice to make sure that the installed APP was recently updated by the developer, which ensures using the latest SW libraries recommended by Google, otherwise it makes no sense to deploy an APP using obsolete/vulnerable code. if it turned out to be not updated for more than two years, then definitely this APP may include vulnerabilities (known as RCE).

How to use?
1) Select security mode, Security mode "UNSEALED" can be used together with Location blocking settings, for DeviceSeal to hide/change your location. Location white listing can be used to bypass the location blocker (change GPS).
2) Select blocking mode (Camera, Microphone or Camera & Microphone) in addition to enabling active Microphone blocking to allow the user to continue using voice commands while blocking the microphone.
3) Select the white-listed applications to bypass Microphone , Camera, and location blocking (change GPS).
4) Set the timer mode to activate different security mode in different time intervals.
5) Prevent screen recording/captures

Attention Android 13 users
Make sure to accept the show notification request, during installation, if rejected please remove and re-install again
Attention Android 11/12 users
Starting from Android 11, DeviceSeal should be added to never sleeping Apps (Device Care => Battery => Background usage limits => Never Sleeping Apps)
(Device Care => Memory => Excluded APPs ) to ensure full protection.
APPs=> DeviceSeal=> battery => Optimise battery usage and DeviceSeal to (APPs not optimised) list.
Attention Chinese Devices Owners
Users having Chinese devices (with Android MUI) like Redmi,... should add DeviceSeal in excluded Apps as follows:
System Settings > Apps > Manage System Apps > Security > Boost Speed > Lock Apps, choose whatever apps you want it to run on background. Then choose "Auto start" on the app's info.

Ratings and reviews

Have NO IDEA what this app is doing or when it is doing anything. This needs a major overhaul from an English-speaking person who understands Western speech and language. The menu choices conflict and overlap providing no clear indication of what is going on as far as I am concerned. For instance when it's under full seal, the mic is disabled but the camera is enabled. What am I missing here. Shouldn't they both be disabled? Duh. This app is in desperate need of a comprehensive menu overhaul.

Works with all Android versions and with different handsets. The active microphone blocker is very interesting. Excellent application.

Sometimes, it says it's seal, but it's not and it will unlock itself. Very annoying having to check to make sure that it's seal
