My books is a database useful for managing an index of books in a library. If you have a huge collection of books and you cannot finding the one you are looking for at in any time, this application is for you.
It has a simple and functional design, it's free, it has no advertising, and you don't need to give any permission to running it.
Each register of the database has four fields: Title, Author, Subject and Library. The Title can take more than one line, and the othes only one.
The item list can be used with these four fields displayed, arranged in three lines, or only with the Title field in a larger size. This list can be sorted by Title, by Author or by Subject.
We can search for a specific title, author or subject, for this you only have to enter a part of the title, the author name or the subject. The application will show us all the books that match the search.
By touching one of the registers you access the editor of the fields, where we can enter this information.
From the menu we can use the options to export and import the database file, of type SQLite, to be able to share the database with another device. The import option overwrites the current database.
Furthermore, we can export and import a text file in CSV format. The field separator is the semicolon ";", in order to use the comma character "," in the Title field. The import option adds the file information to the current database.
