About this app

WorldDroid³ (WorldDroid) is a mobile application based on NASA World Wind library.
The library has updated, some bug were fixed and the WMS Layers support has added (also with other layer types).
It allows users to see the earth in a complete 3D environment.

This demo app allows the addiotion of external WMS Layers (private-or public ones) over the earth surface.
WorldDroid³ lets users show/hide/delete and reorder any layer added to map.
You can also look at the WorldMap preview on the upper left corner, check your viewing angle by checking the real-time synchronized compass on the upper right corner, and check distances by using scalebar in the lower right corner.

The application is already linked to an open WMS server which contains a lot of layers. Credits and thanks for this server are for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano (Italy). http://www.provincia.bz.it/aprov/amministrazione/default.asp

What's new

Version 1.0.3:

* LIBRARY: Supported Almost every device with normal textures (ETC1).
* EXAMPLE: Cache is now saved in external cache directory (if available). The cache can grow rapidly to hundreds of MB. Keep an eye on that
