"F.A.Z. Kiosk" combines the clarity and aesthetics of the newspaper with the convenience of your tablet. You can now enjoy the combination of classic and digital newspaper design. Additional features such as the article view, “topic monitor, a “read later” list, search and archive functions, complete the newspaper experience. You get with this app, the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper from Monday to Saturday and the Sunday newspaper the day before from 20.00 clock. Later in the evening follows the Rhine-Main-Zeitung. The first 14 days can be read free of charge all the available editions. After that, you can purchase all other issues individually or a subscription of your choice. You already have a subscription to the e-paper FAZ and / or F.A.S.? Then you can also use the services of the Android app. Simply log in with your user data from "My FAZ.NET" in the app. More information is available in the help (i) section within the app.

Ratings and reviews

Recently FAZ forced all users to update their "Kiosk" APP. Since this update it is no longer possible to read any E Paper that was downloaded before the update. On my current phone I lost more than 18 months of downloadwd E Papers. I can no longer read, nor search in them. Everything I want to read, I must download again. I did not check how much going backwards it is possible to download. But for sure I got neither the time nor the download capacity to download the lost materials. Unacceptable

This app is useless. You can download issues, but more often than not, you cannot then open them without an internet connection. Very frustrating.

Glitchy, changing scroll direction causes the to menu to display and disappear many times a second, making the app practically unusable. Edit: the problem persists as of the 29.03.2021
