Tosefta is an e-book reader where page by page commentary is right at your fingertips. You can get cultural and literary references or just a simplified explanation for a complex text.

Obtain your API key from ChatGPT and paste it into Preferences.

Import the book in ePub format into the Tosefta library.

Open the book. As you read, tap on the screen to bring up the commentary view. Double tap on the view to fetch a commentary from ChatGPT. You can set the commentary to be either a reference or an explanation.

Text selection enables explicit commentary choice. Tap on the Reference or the Explain tab to get the commentary. Text selection works better when page scrolling is enabled or page swiping is disabled.
