2 new modes "Tres extreme" and "Marathon mode" join Tres 89 Classic. additionally there is a mode to play classic Tres with double sized buttons!

as a gift for Rubber_tech_playz there is now a music player mode to listen to the chip tunes outside of the main game!

Bluetooth controller support, Double the music tracks, changeable national anthems/theme at title screen (up/down on dpad), more colour options for console, now auto scales for newer 16:9 size phones.

Stack the falling TRES blocks to clear lines and score points in this 80's / 90's Gameboy classic. Short bursts of simple retro fun to fill time whilst you wait or play for hours trying to get that elusive high score, its up to you!

Ratings and reviews

Update: I've recently begun playing the game again, every so often, and at this point my only complaints are in the sound department. There are too many songs; I waste time skipping ones I don't want to hear, and the actual Tetris theme is too short to really enjoy. The use of the Michael Jackson "heehee" sfx still bothers me. It's an annoying sound and a distracting reminder of a gross person. Consider adding a toggle for that sound, and the option to loop a single track. Otherwise Tres rocks.

Delivers exactly what's promised: A Gameboy Tetris experience. Additionally, the game also includes gameboy-style covers of popular (and meme) music, without lyrics, obviously, making for an even more enjoyable time. If I were to ask for one thing, it would be a way to hold a block for later, like in modern renditions of the game, but I also understand that it's intended to be a simple remake of the classic game. I've only ever seen a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen, so it's great.

After playing for a little more, I'm still going to give this 5 stars but I do believe the game can be improved upon. I'd love if the hold feature was implemented like it is in more recent tetris games, as well as having a counter clockwise rotation option. Still, I I love the music, though I do with you could turn off the music and keep the sound effects of the blocks.
