The Tommie app provides access to The Care Community in which care employees, care organizations, trade unions and industry associations (can) unite. With the aim of becoming the largest healthcare community in the Netherlands.
The Tommie app is the place where healthcare workers and people who want to work in healthcare can meet, inspire, inform and support each other. They can share their stories, questions, tips, ideas and challenges with colleagues and organizations from different healthcare sectors.
Anyone who works or wants to work in healthcare can become a member and download the Tommie app for free and therefore directly supports the healthcare community!
Tommy | The Care Community brings Healthcare closer together again. For example, healthcare employees, healthcare organizations, trade unions and industry associations can connect and collaborate, innovate and learn from each other via the Tommie app.
The Care Community is an initiative of Tommie Niessen. Tommie is a nurse, author and speaker who writes about the experiences he gains during his work as a nurse, with which he wants to put healthcare on the map in a positive and above all realistic way. Tommie gained national fame with his book 'Tommie in care', which was released in 2018. In recent years, in addition to his work as a nurse in healthcare, giving lectures and workshops, he has also been active online on various social media channels with more than 200,000 followers. Tommie now wants to use his fame and use it to give healthcare workers a national voice. "The healthcare providers have followed me online for years so that I could make my voice heard, now it's time for me to help the healthcare providers to make their voices heard!".
With the Tommie app and De Zorg Community, Tommie and his team want to bring the healthcare sector back together and unite. It's time we do it ourselves! It is important that all healthcare employees, healthcare organizations, trade unions and trade associations in the Netherlands work together and healthcare becomes workable again! With more job satisfaction, appreciation and more colleagues. By uniting we form a unity, so that something will really change now!
