Trade area analysis is an analysis method that ranks the target areas into primary and secondary levels of importance, based on the location of the business, for businesses where users are limited by location, such as stores. is.
By drawing the trade area on the map, you can visually understand where the customers of your company/store are. The results of the analysis will be the criteria for making decisions when selecting real estate when opening a new store or relocating, and when inserting flyer advertisements or installing signboards at existing stores.
This app displays the primary, secondary, and tertiary commercial areas by color according to the distance from the specified point.
You can also display the municipality name by placing a marker in the color-coded area. Identify issues by comparing them with the results of customer surveys.
Also, since the appropriate distance to distinguish between primary, secondary, and tertiary varies depending on the industry and region, the distance can be freely changed on the setting screen.
Boundary data is built into the app for the 23 wards of Tokyo.
For other regions, please download from the government's statistical information site E-stat, and select "Add boundary data" from the menu displayed by long-pressing the screen.

Go to the above site and follow the steps below.
1. Select "Map" in "Using Statistical Data" and go to the "Statistical Geographic Information System" page.
2. Go to the "Data Download" page from "Boundary Data Download".
3. Select "Small Region" from "Boundary List".
4. Select "National Census" - "2020" - "Small area (town, town, etc.) (JGD2011)" from "Government statistics name".
5. Select "World Geodetic System Latitude/Longitude/GML format" from the "Data format list".
6. Select a region.
The downloaded data is compressed in zip format.
After the download is complete, use an application that can extract files in zip format to extract them.
Please select the expanded .gml file from "Add boundary data" displayed by long-pressing the screen of the application. (The .xsd file that is expanded at the same time is not used in this application.)
