The "BuonAPPe" application is designed for the school canteens of the municipality of Rome and in particular for those of the III Montesacro district of Roma Capitale.
This APP will help parents who want to find out about the daily menu administered at school and to give continuity to their children's food education through the vision of "recommendations for the evening menus", conceived and designed in balance with the lunch menu that the children and the girls consume at the canteen, elaborated by dieticians and supervised by paediatricians. The "BuonAPPe" application will allow parents to build a wealth of knowledge on food education and other topics related to healthy eating necessary to raise awareness and accompany their children on their growth path, sharing the culture of nutrition.
The contents of the application are aimed at parents but above all concern the well-being of children.
The App will allow parents to keep up to date with:
• Menu of the current day, of the previous and following days (section: MENU OF THE DAY) and, as previously stated, with the "recommendations for the evening menus".
• Scientific content mainly concerning 4 topics in the food sector, such as:
• Quality and sustainability: to follow an increasingly environmentally friendly diet.
• Correct eating habits: to make adequate food choices on a daily basis.
• Nutrition and multiculturalism: to underline the importance of nutrition in the process of inclusiveness.
• Waste reduction: to enhance food and avoid food waste.
• Events: organized for girls and boys in kindergarten and primary school.
All contents, before publication, will be trained and viewed by the Scientific Committee, made up of paediatricians and dieticians.
It should be noted that the APP is mainly aimed at the parents of boys and girls in the schools of the III Montesacro district of Roma Capitale and possibly usable by all people who intend to explore the themes and contents present within.
BuonAPPe is a purely informative and informative APP and does not collect any data from the user who uses it.
