From the makers of the original B4UFLY, Aloft is launching Air Aware for next-generation situational awareness. In partnership with Pilot Institute (https://pilotinstitute.com), Air Aware is the platform for all drone pilots to get started safely and compliantly to fly drones.

In addition to authoritative airspace information from Aloft (an FAA-approved UAS Service Supplier for LAANC), Air Aware includes Aloft's exclusive Geo layers with over 10 million square miles of local, state, and federal advisory information to assist pilots with takeoff/landing restrictions and other pertinent safety information.

We've also incorporated Aloft's Notify & Fly system, originally introduced in the FAA's B4UFLY app, into Air Aware -- giving pilots the ability to read and share live flight volumes for complete real-time situational awareness and deconfliction.

I really wanted to like this app but it's unusable.. major freeway doesn't even show up it's invisible, map is terrible. app keeps freezing while scrolling the map - have to switch away from app and then back again to unfreeze it. also sent them feedback and never got a response. tried autopylot and the difference in usability was huge. on the other hand they have some pilot training videos that look to be excellent. so, great for training especially to get 107, but lousy for actual flying

Why can I not submit a flight window that isn't just now for a duration of 60 min? I would like to be able to submit a flight window for upto 24 hours in advance for at least a 3 hour time frame. Why is there no way to enter my registration numbers or other information so I don't have to keep checking those boxes in the check list? There should also be a place to list my registered drones and select them from the list for the flight (but the lable check should still be there).

Works as intended. LAANC unlock is easy if needed. Always a good idea to check before you fly especially if you've flown in an area before. One I was going to fly was now a NFZ. Four years ago, it was OK.
