ROOT or Android 10+ required
Android doesn't usually allow applications to capture the audio of other applications, therefore a 'rooted' Android is required!
On Android 10+ you can stream many apps without root if they support and allow it (eg. Deezer, Amazon Music, TuneIn and more), please try it out.
To stream Spotify you can open the web-player inside 'Mi Browser' or any other browser that supports recording.

Ratings and reviews

Please keep maintaining AirMusic. This is the only app that plays to Apple AirPlay devices. I have to mute my phone so that the audio does not play from both devices. The dev let me know that rooting my phone will stop this from happening. Other than this small issue, AirMusic works perfectly! Using on Sony Xperia 1 V running Android 14, unrooted. Edit: Edited to fix a typo and to adjust my review using the developer's reply.

I've been using this application for years. It works and it has great customer support. Currently it's only one working application that allow to stream music via Airplay. In the past there were alternative applications, not anymore. Your android device should be rooted to use all features of the application. I tested it with different airplay speakers and found that some speakers have a poor quality airplay module, which causes errors and interruptions.

Had Arylic S10 streamer & Deezer issue. [ /t/s10-deezer-problem/3596 ]. AirMusic allowed me to use my steamer's Airplay functionality with Deezer. UPDATE: Now have another device: Belkin Soundform Connect 2. I experienced common setup issues & tried the Soundform Alexa Companion App, though I don't have Alexa. AirMusic can now find the Connect 2!
