I use the free version and it has a pretty good interface. I like how you can get in detail with the characters, scenes, etc.; HOWEVER, none of that matters if your work just disappears? I even had my main story backed up, but when I saw that it had erased for some reason and imported my last saved version, nothing appeared. So, all my time developing the story has gone down the drain. 😔 I'm not sure if I want to keep using the app as of right now unfortunately.

As a person who likes writing, this is by far the best app when it comes to plotting stories. It's simple enough to give you an clear idea on what to do. Scenes allows you to split your work into smaller tasks, removing any pressure of weights. With being able to add locations and items makes it even better, as it gives you a simple, yet proper outline for you to work on. If you're a begginer writer or a casual one. Give this app a go, you don't need to write it down on paper anymore

Great free writing app with some robust features and a nice UI. Subscription is not required to access the main features and there are no ads - which, in my opinion, is worth 5 stars on its own. Thank you for the great writing app. :) Update 03/2024: Custom items don't carry across templates, which is a huge pain. It's so generous with its free features that there really isn't much reason to get the pro subscription - I recommend getting a year anyway as a means of supporting the dev(s).
