Fedilab is a multifunctional Android client to access the distributed Fediverse, consisting of micro blogging, photo sharing and video hosting.

It supports:
- Mastodon, Pleroma, Pixelfed, Friendica.

Ratings and reviews

Full-featured, but uncluttered. Handles multiple accounts, drafts, lists, scheduling, all the usual features you'd expect. Good support for non-Mastodon extensions like Akkoma-compatible quote boosts & emoji reactions, Hometown/GoToSocial-compatible local posts, large images on Pixelfed, etc. Not quite as smooth or polished as Tusky, but I like the way it shows long threads, and the expanded feature support makes it a close decision.

Nice app - one of the better clients but push notifications didn't seem to work. I run a small akkoma instance and have had issues with timeline skips. Fedilab solved this issue and I liked the layout; however, notifications never seemed to come through. I tried again with the recent update, and still no push notifications.

Great new update guys. Not sure when that happened. I've been having an issue with sending reactions through on fedilab. If I press "😆" and there's already 1+ "😆," for example, then it simply highlights the bubble. If I use the drop-down menu to select it, it will remove the bubble that shows (😆 1) leaving nothing there. EDIT: 11/03/24 Still a problem. Thanks for nothing. Going back to Husky.
