A true P2P phone application for voice and video calls. No Internet access needed, no registration, not advertisment or calling back "home". Scan each others QR-Code and call each other. This works in over local networks such as community and company networks or at home.

Meshenger calls an IP address over existing WiFi networks. The App is also Open Source, so anyone can contribute.

Does what it says on the tin. Clean interface with simple and easy to understand controls, works fast on LAN over wifi, incoming calls ring and open the app (even if it's closed). Video calls are clear, easy to use and simple to switch cameras etc. If you are looking for a LAN only call app - this is it!

This App is straightforward, easiest to use among any offline WiFi calling app. Interface is clean. Contact can be added by scanning QR. But Chat feature is missing, i hope developer will add in future, a simple text messaging will suffice. Other similar app i have tried is complicated to setup, as well has complex setting, issue in connection etc.

Truly works without internet or sim card. You can just create hotspot on one device and connect the other to the host then call each other. Though it doesn't work quite well when the screen is locked on my Pixel 7 running Android 16, maybe some hidden permission issue. It works beautifully on my Redmi 6 Pro running Android 12.
