On Christmas Eve, Officer Frederick Hartwell believes he's on a routine call-out to settle a domestic dispute but gets more than he bargained for when he finds that the house is empty, it's unnaturally cold and something seems to be lurking in the darkness. Can you escape?

I have to give a 3. It's a fun game, short but sweet. Problem is it doesn't translate to mobile well. Maybe there's not much the developers can do about that but in the final sequence trying to aim is completely impossible as it just points you all the way in one direction. I had to watch Markiplier play it just to see the ending. Good game, you better be good at using a touch screen though.

Very well-made and nice story. A bit simple on jumpscares and I found the controls annoying, but the concept is superb and the gameplay (especially the last part) was a good spin on the "survive until dawn" idea. I kind of wish it explained more of the story though. Spoilers ahead. Who's responsible for the missing person? What happened to the people who disappeared? And why does the police officer just disappear too? How then do they find the footage? It's a nice mystery but I'd like a clue.

Undoubtedly an experience that won space in my heart. I find it amazing how horror games manage to make literally any element that is normal in the eyes of many become dark, and Cold Call was no different. It took a while to get through the game, but I thought it was a great trial-and-error pastime and well worth it in the end. Congratulations to the team!
