Explore the world with the eyes of a cat! Cats are protans, meaning that their eyes have no photoreceptors for the color red. That makes it difficult for them to distinguish between blue and green colors and also between red and green colors.
Compared to humans, cats also see at a lower resolution, meaning that they see things slightly more blurry than us.

I enjoy using this app. Hubby & I were recently adopted by a stray cat, & we've finally officially changed her chip info. So we've been deep into getting cat items. I'm wanting to make yarn toys for her & used this while picking out colors. I made a small test from them; she took interest. Seems like royal blue & classic yellow are nice and vivid in cat spectrum. It's like learning a new color wheel. I see now why she loves the fish on string, same colors. It does call her a dog though...

Very good and insifightfull application. A useful feature would be a screenshot button, and also to keep it active like the normal camera. Also about the fact they see better in the dark, could that be incorporated? Thank you and love your app.

Useful for picking out stuff like toys for feline friends, the red green color blind filter really shows how the blues pop out in kitty vision. It also shows how the red pigment in orange tabby cats looks to them like the same color as the grass. Well done :)
