Take photos and videos without a shutter sound, into a private album that lives only on your phone and can be locked with a PIN.
Silent is the default from the moment you install. Want the click back? Turn it on in Settings. Haptic feedback stands in for the sound you no longer hear.
▣ SILENT PHOTO & VIDEO
• Photo and video modes, front and rear camera, flip any time
• Flash off / auto / on (on stays lit as a torch, for video too)
• Zoom presets (.5× 1× 2×) plus pinch to zoom anywhere in between
• A horizon level so you can tell when the shot is straight
• Volume keys work as a shutter button
• What you see is what you get — the preview framing, including the front-camera mirror, is exactly what gets saved
• Your last lens choice is remembered for next time
▣ A PRIVATE ALBUM, NOT YOUR CAMERA ROLL
• Everything you shoot is saved inside the app's own storage — it does not appear in your phone's gallery or in any other app
• Date-grouped grid with photos and videos side by side
• Star the ones you want to find again, then filter to Starred
• Long-press to select, drag across to select a range, delete in one go
• Deletes go to a trash first — one tap on Undo brings them back
• Share a photo into Camera from another app and it's copied in too
▣ VIEWER
• Full-screen photos with pinch to zoom; videos play in place
• Slideshow that advances on its own and stops the moment you touch it
• An info sheet with the capture date, size, resolution and duration
• Export a copy to your phone's main gallery when you do want it there — the copy survives even if you uninstall the app
▣ EDITING
• Rotate and crop, saved as a new file so the original is never overwritten
▣ APP LOCK
• Optional 4-digit PIN, asked on launch and every time you come back from another app
• Fingerprint unlock on top of the PIN if your phone supports it
• The PIN is hashed with a random per-install salt and stored on the device only
• There is no recovery code and no backdoor: forget the PIN and the only way in is clearing the app's data, which erases the album with it
▣ HOUSEKEEPING
• Settings shows how much space leftover trash is using, and empties it on demand
• It also finds byte-identical duplicate copies and moves the extras to the trash, keeping the oldest one
▣ WHAT LEAVES YOUR PHONE
Your photos and videos never do. There is no upload, no cloud sync, no gallery scanning, and no sign-up form. What the app does send: an anonymous device-scoped ID so it can talk to our server, crash reports, and basic usage analytics — plus ad requests, because the app is free and shows one full-screen ad when you return to it after being away for a while. That's the whole list.
■ Please note
• Media lives in the app's private storage. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling deletes it — export anything you want to keep to your main gallery first.
• Some phones sold in certain countries play a shutter sound at the system level that no app is allowed to switch off.
• Photos are saved as JPEG and videos as MP4 with audio; RAW and manual exposure controls are not included.
