ROMANICA: THE FIRST VIDEO GAME OF THE MINISTRY OF FRENCH CULTURE
The world of Romanica is dying. Since speaking only one language, all the inhabitants are bored, shut up, fleeing and abandoning their cities. Moreover, these will soon disappear forever under a thick cloak of clouds.
Only you can reintroduce life and light in the world of Romanica! Leave aside your prejudices and doubts and revive the diversity of Romanica languages to bring back joy and life with all its inhabitants!
For that, you will have to help them to find the meaning of the words that they use daily and to recognize in which languages these are used. Be careful, when you bring life back to the world of Romanica, the words will be more and more numerous!
As you progress, you will unlock valuable cultural information to continue your quest in Romanica, as well as badges rewarding your multilingual talents in Romance languages.

Five worlds are available to you: each world has 15 levels of action that may trigger some adrenaline rush.

Romanica is the first video game produced by the French Ministry of Culture. We want to experiment and develop through this media new forms of interaction and awareness with the public, which we hope to many, on the issues of language, linguistic diversity and the Francophonie.
A COMPLETELY FREE GAME
Romanica is completely free, without any in-app purchases. It is also the first game that allows you to play with eight Romance languages (French, Romanian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Occitan and Corsican) without having to learn them, while activating the multilingual potential unsuspected who lies in you!
This game was created during the cross-cultural France-Romania season, which runs until 2019, and is available in French and Romanian. However, it is already planned to extend the Romanica adventure beyond the cross season!
Romanica is developed by the studio CCCP, in close collaboration with the teams of the French Ministry of Culture and in partnership with the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF), the international association for the promotion of intercomprehension (Apicad), ATOS and Union des groupements d'achat public (UGAP).
