The Kansas Public Radio App allows you to listen to KPR live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the KPR program schedules! You can explore On Demand content, search for stories, bookmark a story for later, and wake up to KPR with the alarm clock!

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from KPR even while traveling!

Really difficult to get the now-playing controls and casting options to show up. I have to start a live stream and then switch to the archive show I actually want to play. It has also started using a significant amount of background battery for no apparent reason even if I haven't launched the app recently, including after a forced stop.

App doesn't work as required. the app stops midstream. Dont know why. Never did until recently. Update 06/22 app still stops midstream... Tried to uninstall and reinstall and also to shut down and restart phone. Same results. What used to be a good app is lately a useless drain on my phone data. 09/22...still frequently stops. Why, KPR? Update(5/23) app has been working more consistently as of late. Still have instances of stream stoppage but less frequent than previously.

I had to have this app for the Retro Cocktail Hour! That would be enough for a five-star review, but the episode restarts whenever I disconnect from bluetooth, and the slider to find my place in the episode doesn't work, so listening in my car while making stops gets fairly frustrating. The RCH is worth the trouble, though.
