we keep the phone near the gear and drive. while turning if some part of the car touches the screen due to the turning motion, the app take it as distraction. if we park in a spot get of the car with the. mobile and get back in within a minute, the app thinks that we are still in the same trip , resulting in another distraction point updates. still the app records gps interaction in car as distraction. also, any movement to phone due to sharp turns are considered a distraction

This app often says that I brake hard or am using my phone while driving when I'm not! Very agitated that I'm getting accused of something I'm not doing & this affects my score which could affect my insurance. I guess if I get a ticket for not stopping on a yellow I'll say "well officer, my AAA app will consider it as hard braking if I stop that quick". Big brother watching us way too much! Very unreasonable & glitchy. Just excuses to raise prices. Yet I see drivers who watch shows while driving

Mostly OK. But the braking score is ridiculous. Slow down once/trip by 10 mph in 3 sec, and it gives you 1 out of 5 stars. Go speed limit, light turns yellow, and you smoothly come to stop? 1 star for hard braking. it actually encourages dangerous driving, racing through stoplight!
