I didn't like it at all. It's not accurate. It records every hard break as a bad thing and has no discretion, even if a hard break just saved your life. I don't do a lot of my own driving, so every time I'm a passenger even if it's public transportation I have to go into the app and change it to passenger. Even when my phone is in the trunk secured in a unmovable position, I still get dinged for phone distractions like tapping it. And bottom line, I don't like being tracked.

As others have said, it would be a great app if it weren't impossibly sensitive on braking. A single medium-paced brake will absolutely tank your score, often by as much at 10 percentage points, even when it's required based on the circumstances and completely safe. I don't understand why they offer 5 stars if everything is a 1 or a 5

For the most part the app is fine, though there is no option to indicate when a passenger uses your phone. Since it affects your discount, that option should be provided. I also noticed it seems overly sensitive for stopping too fast, when one would hardly consider it a hard stop. I haven't seen it score anything but 1 or 5 stars. Since there are various degrees of braking, there should be varied scores given.

Regarding hard braking, make sure your phone is secured or mounted for the most accurate readings.
