Accessibility Permission Disclosure for LOLBooth

LOLBooth is a specialized photo booth application designed for use at events, featuring seamless integration with Epson thermal printers for instant photo printing. The app is intended exclusively for internal use by our crew members and is not available to the general public. Access is restricted to pre-registered users, and new user registration is not available within the app.

Why We Use Accessibility Services
LOLBooth utilizes an accessibility service solely to automate the confirmation of USB permission dialogs that appear when Epson thermal printers are connected. These dialogs, triggered by packages such as com.epson.epos2_printer and jp.co.epson.android.printer, appear unpredictably and can severely disrupt photo sessions and event workflows if not promptly handled.

How We Protect User Privacy and Limit Scope
Our accessibility service is tightly scoped and does not:

Monitor or log general user interactions

Collect or access any personal data

Interfere with any apps or functionalities unrelated to Epson printing

Activate without the user’s explicit consent

Upon launching, LOLBooth clearly explains the purpose of the accessibility permission and requires users to manually enable it through system settings.
