About this app

Using this app with your ChromaComfort exhaust fan you are able to create a custom personal color ambiance in your bathroom or other humidity-prone rooms.

Control light settings (colored or white) and brightness, set timers, control the fan, or create scenes with your favorite colors, all this is possible with ChromaComfort™ A spa-like experience is only the tap of your screen away via this Bluetooth™ connected App.

Compatible with Broan AER110RGBL, AERN110RGBL, SPK110RGBL, SPKN110RGBL, FG600RGB & FG800RGB for the US. And then AER110RGBLC, AERN110RGBLC, SPK110RGBL, SPKN110RGBL, FG600RGB & FG800RGB for Canada.

Due to app enhancements, if a problem with the app is encountered after upgrading, follow these steps to update your app:
1. Unpair the fan from your phone Bluetooth settings. Note, this is different than disconnecting the fan from your Bluetooth, you must “forget” the device on your phone
2. Uninstall the Chromacomfort app
3. Reinstall the Chromacomfort app from the Google Play Store

EDIT: People with bluetooth connection issues! Reset your breaker and voila! It works again! App was working okay I guess until one day the fan has disconnected from my phone and I haven't been able to reconnect it ever since. I've deleted and downloaded the app several times in the past few weeks, restarted my phone and the fan doesn't even come up as an open connection when I search for a Bluetooth device. I paid a good amount of money to get this model and it was a waste of money apparently.

Light Switch controller stopped working one month after installation (on two of my Bluetooth light/fans), so I was forced to get the app. I shouldn't need an app to turn on a light. What used to take just the push of a button for light now consists of getting my phone, getting into the app, turnings on Bluetooth, connecting the light/fan, pressing the light I need, and then turning the light to on. For all that, it's quicker just to go to another bathroom in my home, or pee in darkness.

If consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, then this app is BRILLIANT. It's great when it works, which is about half the time. For the other half, each of the fixes in the other reviews (restart your phone, reset the breaker, uninstall/reinstall the app, stand on your head for 16 seconds, etc.) also work about half the time. So, you can usually get it to work, but that's not good enough, especially when the app is the only way to do scenes and timers. 🙄 Do better, NuTone.
