Automation and especially location services used with automation needs more work. It's obsessively set on using my phone location(which isn't correct). When I try to set manually to a different part of my city, it doesn't update. It still insists on using my phone location and it doesn't accurately reflect temperature and weather setting for my city. (Thinks it's 65 when it's really 85, etc.....)

It took awhile to get the fan to connect to my wifi, but once it did, it worked great! So don't give up trying to connect the fan to your wifi, it just takes awhile to sync. But the fan works great with the app, I can do everything with the app that I can do as if I was standing in front of it. Except take it in and out of the window or clean the unit. I give it 5 stars even though it was tough to sync with my wifi.

Really like this Window fan. Everything about it iS AWESOME, well, except for ONE - the WI-FI. No matter what I try it won't connect. My router & speed are top-notch.. Heck, it'll pick up satellites.. LoL but NOT the Aspen window fan.. Anyhow, it's not a deal breaker as I don't need it. Do i recommend it? Of course, heck a fan that is this easy to take apart & clean can't be that bad.. 😏
