About this app

AVY Mobile One is our newly designed mobile application for all your video surveillance needs. It is compatible with our latest Diversity Series NVRs, Hybrid DVRs, and IP Cameras*, which can operate as standalone devices without a need for an NVR.

We strive to make our user interface as intuitive as possible to ensure the best experience. Navigate our menu effortlessly and view your cameras live, or freely play back saved recordings. With our AI-capable recorders and cameras, you can now filter video events through features such as motion detection, facial recognition, people/vehicle detection and license plate reading.

Reviewing push notifications is now streamlined as notifications are divided into three categories: Event, AI, and Abnormal. With these options, there is no need to review countless motion events when our software provides the analytics to detect relevant results.

The built-in file list system helps users view or playback archived footage to save on their mobile devices. Our file manager comes with an integrated search engine to provide fast results based on dates and device names. It is easier than ever to quickly share your desired footage to social media platforms or a simple text message.

It is nice that you can edit the camera settings from the app without having to go to the nvr or desktop app. The alerts have to be viewed from the notification before they show up in the app. Once you have the app open, new ones start showing there (while it's open). There seems to be a limit on the number of notifications, so you have to select from the bottom of the list and then an older one shows up. Blocks of time get lost. If you click on the header, the notifications get deleted.

App notifications when selected doesn't go to the trip point, but at the start of the day. AI isn't accurate, as any moving animal or shadow is labeled as pedestrian. Notifications are inconsistent when app isn't actively being used on the phone. More detailed explanation of settings would be helpful. If these issues are fixed, avycon would be much better and probably gain a lot larger following.

Many complaints about UI. Playback of footage starts at beginning of the day. Would be helpful if it started 10m back from the last footage for emergencies. Also, reviewing footage spanning midnight is a nightmare as it's two separate days. When switching between cameras on playback, it often drops the AI flags to tell you when there is movement and when you should review. When adding frames to File List the time stamp is for when you took the picture, not the time stamp of when footage taken.
