Every time the system switches between grid power and battery power, it *causes* a long enough outage that my microwave loses its clock, and sometimes so do my ovens. For a system that is supposed to prevent outages, it effectively does the opposite, multiple times per day. Additionally, the app has been made more useless over time, and now won't even show the current percentage charge level of the batteries.

The utility and battery service through Base Power is great, and the app is useful in monitoring and tracking our home's power output and useage. The Base Power company earns their living in sending power from the batteries back to the grid, and this is quite useful if you have solar panels. Backup power (from batteries), if needed, during a utility outage is available.

this is one of the best electric companies I have worked with.
