Very frustrating that the two most intuitive custom controls you'd want with a headphone app aren't available. You cannot customize the EQ beyond presets altered by a hidden set of "personalized variables". Just give control of the EQ sliders. Also, while there is a "custom" setting for the touch controls, there's not an obvious way to customize what the different inputs do yourself. Great product but may return the headphones because the software gets in the way.

Doesn't bond with or initialize my aventho wireless no matter what. I upgraded the firmware, disconnected, re-connected. Tried everything but couldn't bond the headphones. I expected much more from beyerdynamic. The least that could have been done was to mark this app as incompatible with my Android version in playstore or have a message in the app saying my version isn't compatible and save me the frustration.

Though there's definitely some issues with the app, (in my instance) it's never been anything causing permanent breakage of the headphones. The EQ config is a welcome addition, it would be extremely nice to have the ability to 'tweak' manually by use of frequency range sliders after the preset EQ has been applied. The bottom line from me; I've used *far worse* audio software, MIY is fairly intuitive, has a moderate amount of features, and generally doesn't cause issues to playback.
