About this app

Dais keeps speeches, meetings and programmes on schedule. Build a running order with a time for every speaker, run it on a large countdown that everyone can read from across the room, then review how the programme actually went.

BUILD THE RUNNING ORDER
- Add a segment for each speaker or item with a title, speaker name and planned duration
- Reorder with a tap, edit anything later, and everything saves as you go
- Save as many programmes as you like and duplicate last week's to start this week's
- Import an agenda from a CSV file or export one to share with the team

RUN IT LIVE
- Full-screen countdown in portrait or landscape
- Four clear phases: On time, Wrap up soon, Finish now and Over time, each shown by colour, label and icon so nobody has to rely on colour alone
- Choose your own warning times and colours, globally or per segment
- Pause, extend by 30 seconds, 1 or 5 minutes, skip ahead or restart a segment
- Skipping, restarting and ending ask for confirmation, so a stray tap cannot wreck the session
- Optional chimes at each warning and when time runs out
- Overtime is shown explicitly and counts up

REVIEW AND SHARE
- When the programme ends, see planned versus actual time for every segment and the whole event
- Share a plain-text summary after previewing exactly what will be sent
- Past sessions are kept for each programme until you delete them

BUILT TO BE TRUSTED
- The countdown keeps counting while you switch apps, rotate or lock the screen
- Changing the device clock does not change the elapsed time
- If the device restarts mid-session, Dais tells you and pauses so you can check
- Works completely offline: no account, no advertising, no analytics, no Internet permission

Dais is made for speakers, teachers, facilitators, church programme coordinators and small event hosts. It is a timing aid, not a broadcast production system.
Keep talks, meetings and programmes on time with a big, clear speaker countdown.
