Ratings and reviews

It's competent enough. Way too many ads in the free version. It progresses way too fast, it automatically puts you in a different section once it's introduced vocabulary you haven't fully memorized yet. And it's also kind of boring to learn, there's no pictures or additional sentences, it's basically just teaching you words and the alphabet. There are definitely better Russian learning apps out there.

Very straightforward and basic; it allows you to pick and choose exactly what you want to practice instead of carrying you through a bunch of lessons. I found that it's especially great for supplementing what I'm learning on Duolingo. I do, however, wish it included at least some practice with grammar and sentence structure. All in all, it does its job.

Good resource, but you need more. Great app for what it is, but won't make you fluent in a language. The app is mainly for expanding or reinforcing vocabulary. Better as a supplement or study guide, along with a more hands on guided app or lessons. The only issue I have with it is categories being locked, and in an arbitrary order. More relevant words you should know first are often locked WAY down the tree, after a lot of irrelevant and useless words. I can't access the words I need to study.
