The product (Ultra 3.0) is a great product that keeps my humidor at a perfect 67%RH. The wifi components and software can use some work. After fighting with connection issues for months I finally started to get a consistent connection. The system would not cooperate with my eero network causing me to have to set up a separate network off my modem to connect to. The subscription is OK at best. Would like to see the time the reading was reported but for $1.60/mo ($20/yr) it isn't bad. THANK YOU!

Sorry we did not see this sooner, Thank you for the honest review. Mesh networks are tricky and limited character counts here won't let us detail why. In regards to the time a reading was reported... should be coming very soon with some other surprises !

Tried to set this thing up for a week now and no luck. I have set up all types of wifi devices in my home with NO problems. Connecting this device to the app is totally frustrating. Pending verification for a week, I have tried several times with the same result. Ready to go back to Boveda packs with wifi hygrometers.... UPDATED 9/19/2021 Okay so I finally got my Excel 3.0 connected to my WIFI. I don't know what the difference was because I read the directions and followed them exactly as directed. Now, in all fairness Cigar Oasis did contact me via email with an extensive list of reasons why I might be having this issue. I'm currently online and monitoring my New Air C100H. One thing that is stupid is the way the ribbon connects to the unit. It plugs straight in, it should have a 90 degree, so it doesn't take up so much room. Add to this that the fan vent is on the opposite side of the power supply plug and needs space. I will up my stars but can't give 5 yet.

Jim, We have responded to your support request submitted 9/14/21, on 9/15/21 and advised potential causes. We are awaiting followup to proceed in resolving this with you. Our devices have specific connectivity requirements that other smart device may not have or be able auto adjust. We can resolve this with response and engagement from you.

Don't bother. Does not work in real time (which would make the app barely useful as a subscription app), but everything you can do with the app, you can do by simply reading and adjusting the unit. MAYBE if this was a one time fee, I'd do it, but a subscription? For something that you rarely adjust and no real time reading? Pffft. Something like this should have been included in the price we paid for the unit itself. Get real.

Hey Paul, That update we told you about. Its here. Not sure who set the expectation of real time readings. Most of our advertising pretty clearly states "Hourly". Would love to see if your feelings change with this updated app.
