About this app

The primary mission of the National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) is to establish and operationalize emergency medical services, while concurrently coordinating all ambulance services across the nation.
With a steadfast commitment to this mandate, the NEMSAS programme was launched in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on October 14th, 2022. This pilot phase spanned six months, allowing us to comprehensively grasp the prevailing gaps and challenges, ensuring their appropriate mitigation prior to expanding our operations to other states within the country. Through diligent efforts, we have successfully launched operations in Anambra State and, more recently, in Yobe State.
Furthermore, we are eagerly anticipating the imminent launch of our operations in Ogun State, scheduled for June 13th, 2023.
Our overarching objective revolves around promptly reaching individuals requiring urgent medical care, striving to deliver comprehensive treatment for their emergency conditions and arranging timely evacuation to urgent care centers/emergency treatment centers nationwide.
