Diario de Ibiza is the most important and influential means of communication in Ibiza and Formentera, founded in 1893, it is the oldest newspaper of the Balearic press. In 1991, the publishing company of the newspaper was acquired from the Verdera Ribas family by Prensa Ibérica.
The Club Diario de Ibiza was born in April 1993 and, since then, it has become an essential dynamic element in the cultural life of Ibiza. It is a forum for reflection linked to current events and open to all points of view.
Diario de Ibiza, faithful to its commitment to the environment and with a clear commitment to innovation, has signed up for the use of renewable energy and uses photovoltaic panels for self-consumption of energy in its facilities. In total, there are 110 solar modules of 280 watts and 30 kW that make up a solar platform that is a pioneer in Spain.
