Or have you discovered that your "Detective Notes" pad is down to the last two sheets which you have to split among four players? Ever thought to yourself, "Gee, I could really help the environment by not using that piece of paper in the first place." or, "Oh how I wish there was some way to do this on my phone!"

We've been there.

We've sharpened those pencils. We've run out of paper. We've wished upon stars for an electronic version to materialize. When it didn't, we made one.

Wish no more! Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, you can play an entirely paperless game of Clue!

Ratings and reviews

Overall, this app is pretty good. However, a glaring shortcoming, in my opinion, is the inability to put multiple numbers in the same square. For example, on one roll of the dice, I may know that player 2 has card a, b or c but I don't know for sure which one(s). The next roll may tell me that the same player has card c, d or e but I still don't know any for sure. For card c, I am limited to associating it with one group or the other but not both.

Very helpful when taking notes. It allows me to better mark who has what cards. I love that it has multiple different clue game versions (e.g. Simpsons, Harry Potter, and Master Edition) just to name a few. They don't have all the different versions though. I wish they would have a feature that allows you to create a version that isn't listed.

I really enjoyed using this app to play the board game of Clue. This was much more helpful than the paper sheets which we had run out of. We didn't have to set up walls of privacy either. You can mark things with this app in a simple way with just a check mark or you can take advantage of the extra boxes and get really complicated with how you keep track of all the clues.
