Recently switched back to Android (P10PXL) and now have to use Fastmail's own app since they don't support "push" notifications through Gmail app, unlike using Mail on an iPhone. Not a big deal as Fastmail's app does a pretty good job. Reasoning for only 3 stars is due to some interactions in app that don't align with standard mobile patterns. Example, pulling down on screen to refresh you expect standard "bouncing" effect. No. Very confusing since you don't know if it's doing anything or not.

I've had Fastmail subscription for about 10 years. So I was excited to find this app and install it on my Android 7.1.1 phone. Unfortunately, it rarely works. It constantly freezes up on me. Also, when reading an email from my inbox, the further i scroll down while reading, it starts to become more narrow. Too many other weird bugs and glitches. Most the time, i get so frusterated trying to use it, I just end up waiting till i get home to check emails on my PC. This App needs A LOT of work!

It somehow never occurred to me that Fastmail might have an app. I'm very happy with it. One of the best parts is that it clears the notifications almost immediately if you mark new emails as read from another device. But it does everything else well too. I'm not a heavy email user on my phone, but I do want to be able to see emails as they come in, and it works very nicely for that.
