The Problem:
Every day, Nigeria generates over 32 million tonnes of solid waste — one of the highest rates in Africa. Yet, only about 20–30% of that waste is collected and properly managed. The rest?
It ends up in drainages, open spaces, water bodies, and landfills that poison our environment, endanger our health, and weaken local economies.

The CleanSweep Solution:
We don’t wait for change. We build it — with youth, technology, and community ownership.

CleanSweep is a youth-led initiative powered by Feexet, designed to tackle Nigeria’s waste crisis from the ground up:

We use a tech-enabled platform to map waste hotspots in real time

We train and equip young people to lead local clean-up campaigns

We provide large community bins, organise town hall education events, and track impact digitally

We work directly with residents, waste contractors, and civic leaders to make environmental action everyone’s responsibility

📊 Our Impact So Far:
Over 100 youth volunteers mobilised

Cleanups carried out in 6 target communities across Abuja

Waste successfully removed from high-risk zones near homes and schools

More than 500 residents sensitised on recycling, reduction, and proper disposal
