Believe it or not, is actually working for me. As in right now during this review. Older "Chill" model. With all of these negative reviews and the average rating being in the two-star territory, I didn't think it would connect or work at all. I lost my remote a while ago so I thought there would be no way to pair it. But I could! Unplugged the device till it said CF. It added itself. Already tested it using my data connection and it seems bug free so far.

The app works as expected. It's simple, but nice to be able to turn on your window AC unit before you get home! The Google Home integration needs some work. I linked my account to the 'Smart Home' app in Google Home (not sure why it's not called Friedrich). Then when I say 'Hey Google, turn my Bedroom Air Conditioner to 69 degrees", it does it, but also shows an error on the Google Home screen.

This used to work albeit very poorly. Since then, I've gotten a new phone and once I login and tried to add a device, the app keeps crashing and can't load. Clearing cache does nothing and if I delete the app data, I have to re-login and the cycle repeats. I would love a way to control these without having to use the remote.
