About this app

This is the companion app for the families and staff using the Tapestry online learning journal in their school, nursery, or at their childminders.

You must be able to log into a Tapestry account in order to use this app.

The app is a pared-down version of the browser. You can use it to:

Create, view, edit, and comment on observations
View and comment on Memos and Activities
Log into your account quickly using a PIN or biometrics
Access and add to your child/childrenā€™s learning journal/s whilst offline
If you are a staff member, create and view Care Diary entries

Privacy & Data Protection:

The school/nursery/childminder that purchased the Tapestry
account is in charge of the data that is added to and stored in Tapestry; what
is added, how long it is kept for, and who can see it.

We at Tapestry only use the data you enter to
provide, fix and improve the service. We donā€™t use the data for marketing; we
donā€™t share the data with others to do marketing.

Worst app ever. Won't let me delete the old account with my old nursery. Yet It can't cope with the fact that I now have two accounts. It will only send me the password reset for the old nursery, I have to get the new nursery to do it for me. When I then change the password, I screenshoted the new password to confirm what it was, but even then it won't recognise it!? Now have to go back to my new nursery again. Absolute rubbish.

Sorry to hear this. Only the old nursery can remove you so please contact them for that. But if you're not getting a PW reset email for your new nursery this suggests it's not active or the email has been added incorrectly. If you still can't login please ask the nursery to contact us at customer.service@eyfs.info and we'll be happy to advise them.

Very buggy. Starting with the login. If you click on the eye icon to see what password you're typing, it will delete anything you had typed before. Edit: I see the reply that it was designed this way, making it thus the ONLY password box in the whole universe that deletes everything you have typed when you click on the eye. What a terrible way to innovate.

Hi, the eye icon was designed this way, so if you tap on it before entering your password, you will then be able to see what is being entered. If you're experiencing any other issues do get in touch with our support team by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info and they will be able to help you.

Can't even log in, just keeps telling me it couldn't find an active account with the details entered. Only way I can use Tapestry is by using the link in the daily emails to log in through a web page, using the same details that apparently aren't linked to an active account......... šŸ¤”

This error message means the details being entered don't match the ones saved on the system. We would recommend resetting your password and then trying to login to the app again. If you need any further support logging in, we suggest getting in touch with the school/nursery/childminder that set you up with an account.
