The Greek New Testament contains about 5,400 unique words which combined occur 138,020 times in the texts. Our Biblical Greek Vocab app offers 1,023 of the most common words which cover 90% of all occurrences. In fact, the top 300 (all 50+ words) will appear 110,400 times in the New Testament which is about 80%.

Even though the word segments may vary between 30-100 words, our unique learning algorithm circulates only 5-10 words in a loop so you could see them more often and learn quicker. As you learn a word, it removes it from the loop and adds another one, thus you can learn at your own speed.

950 hand drawn images beautifully illustrate the meaning of the words making the learning experience fun and easy.

Such a great app! It would be even better if it had vocab by chapter for your Greek 4 All course but still this is such a well done app and I like the unique learning algorithm and how your swipe down to switch between languages is really unique as well, something I haven't seen before. Keep up the great work! 👍

Great app. The pictures really help cement the concept in memory. One feature I would like to see is to have the picture/English on the flash card and test if you can get the Greek word correct. This would be especially helpful for memorizing the correct lexical form including the genitive ending and gender (article).

Thank you for the recommendation. This feature (to see English word first) is already scheduled and will appear in the next update.

The app is very good and is doing a good job helping to learn the vocabulary. Thanks. One suggestion. Allow the Greek words to be seen without the pictures. At times I find myself learning the picture more than the Greek word which doesn't help. I see the picture and immediately associated to the English, not the Greek. This is not too frequent but it does happen. John Bidwell
