From my experience, this app simply does not work. SMSs do not go through and without a message sent/failed indicator or a delivery report of any kind, there is no way of immediately knowing whether or not messages have reached the intended recipient. Typed messages also remain in the text editor even after tapping Send. In short, there's still a lot of work required before this app comes anywhere close to delivering on it's promise.

Their website is great for making calls, but SMS, both the website and the app do not play nicely with all carriers. I have Republic wireless, and my very first text was a test message to myself. It did not go through, and nothing in the app told me that it didn't. The GlobFone website is great for making calls, but the i-Trends app only only handles the text aspect of GlobFone which does not work right, Also if you read i-Trend's privacy policy it is downright scary. It actually mentions that it will save the CONTENT of your messages. So why 2 stars for an app that doesn't work? I like the company and their web-based phone calls, and I do look forward to a WORKING app from them, but this version is not it.

Jeff, thank you for your feedback. You're right that not all SMS go through. Please understand that we offer this service for free and we have very little funds to manage quality of SMS delivery. In fact, choosing economy SMS routes we're not receiving delivery reports, so we simply don't know if provider is fair with us.

App won't access mic to make calls each time U use it, useless otherwise. Trued in friends Samsung phone and same mic access issue. What to do? App settins do not show security settins requiring permissions for mic, only contacts.

This mobile app doesn't support calls what is written in app description. However there is, inside an app, a web "iframe" where users can browse our webpage. Some of them (some smartphones) can even make calls but it depends from many small details (WebRTC support) on the way.
