About this app

This app tests your ability to recognize all the different key signatures in music. Musical notation becomes easier to read if you have a solid grasp of key signatures. Good key signature recognition will improve your sight-reading ability and will give you a sound base on which to understand music theory and music composition better.

To help train, you can choose from a variety of different quizzes. For each quiz you are given a limited amount of time to guess each key signature. If you wish you can focus on just major/minor signatures or on sharps/flats.

You get a rating to show how good you are at each quiz based on your score results. There are charts to show your quiz score history, as well as your scores for each question in the quiz.

If you want to just target your weak areas, you can select the "Custom" quiz and just pick the key signatures with the lowest 5 scores to practice.

The goal is to get 100% on each quiz and a 5 star gold rating!! 👍👍

This is a very good app for learning Key Signature Theory. But unfortunately it has a bit of a drawback. In that the user needs to complete the question in the allotted time. The app would be 100% if the users could turn off the timer as this would allow the learners to work out the answers better. And aid in their learning. Other than that the only other thing is that is sometimes crashes, although that is very rare. Could you please give the users the option to turn the timer off. Cheers.

I really like this application, it is very interesting to have an application with exercises about music theory. just one suggestion : why don't you add the possibility to name the keys in a different way such as do re mi fa so la si do. I am French and using the international letters makes the application very complicated for me. anyway, it is teaching me how to name the keys with their international name. Thank you for your great work and continue improving the application

Only gave the app 4 stars instead of 5 because and this is going to sound ironic there's no option to purchase the app and it is very commercial heavy. The advertisements are very irritating.
