About this app

Spiritual freedom, a deeper relationship with Jesus, and finding God in all things are three basic precepts of Ignatian Spirituality. Sacred Space, a joint apostolate of the Irish Jesuits and Loyola Press, has dedicated itself to continuing the mission that Saint Ignatius began centuries ago. In 1999, Sacred Space went online, bringing faith to a new frontier of communication. Sacred Space expands the boundaries again with its new smartphone app, available for the Android and iPhone platforms. The Sacred Space app guides you through a prayer session in six stages:

• The Presence of God
• Freedom
• Consciousness
• The Word
• Conversation
• Conclusion

Each stage is designed as an exercise or meditation to help you get in touch with God and feel God’s presence in your life.

Our daily routine constantly bombards us with new tools and technologies but God doesn’t have to get lost in the shuffle. We can find God anywhere, even on our smartphones. Use the Sacred Space app for peace and reflection. Continue to seek and find God in the busy, modern world.

Incredible app, but it's hard to understand the languages that have been added, including Catalan (!), while Spanish has been left aside. And when asked about it, around two years ago, they sent me to the website! Come on, please add Spanish to the app! Spanish is the fourth most spoken language in the world, so, don't you think it should be included? ¿O queréis que os lo escriba todo en español? Qué lamentable.

I absolutely love this app. It's a great way to get a connection with God in a concise guided format. It promotes daily connection in an unassuming way while avoiding being pushy. It, like God, is right there waiting for you.

i wish the swiping effect were clearer. it's too easy to get lost and not know if you turned the page because if the dissolve effect. wish the audio clips were longer. prefer the music in the website.
