You've got to be extremely confident of your frequent software releases to force the user to update every time the user is on the dash board screen. whilst technically you aren't forcing the user to update but because of the bugs in the app, if I tap the Back button the annoying update notification goes away but the vehicle does not get displayed. to avoid this bug I updated the app but now the tracking function is broken. You could have easily displayed on the screen that an update is available

Useless application customer shouting at late night.... All of Your developers all are sleeping at your office right.... All the vehicles parked in a same place but it shows vehicle moves on 38km another vehicle at 26km long days issue.... Waste of money not only this account many account having this issue...
