"Smart City Walk" is a mobile application for indoor navigation that is developed by Hong Kong Blind Union under the “Jockey Club Smart City Walk Project”. By applying different navigating technologies, the App shows current location of users and provides navigation to destination. It also provides floor plan and important information of indoor venues.

The "Jockey Club Smart City Walk Project" is one of the "The Chief Executive's Community Project List 2017", funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Training on smart mobile devices is provided to visually impaired persons and elderly under this project. In addition, seminars and sharing sessions are also organized to arouse public's awareness on visually impaired people.

Hong Kong Blind Union was established in 1964. It is the first self-help group organized and managed by people with visual impairment. It aims at promoting the spirit of self-help and mutual-help as well as striving for equality, opportunities and independence for visually impaired persons.
