Had this app for years and there was no ads before. Was able to translate things without even taking a picture which is handy when you're just trying to read instructions on the fly. But now not only do you have to take a picture but you also have to wait for ads to skip to even get the translation. Some people on these reviews said they even paid for the no ads feature but it didn't even work. Gross conduct and is obvious that the app got sold off to someone who is just trying to make a profit

Deserving of five stars. I was playing an app called "JapaneseDoll" and I took screenshots. It worked like a charm, and I picked the right choice, too! :D Edit: Stuck on the data loading screen. Says something like, "loading your data, please wait!" I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but eventually gave up. Was good while it lasted.

This app is amazing. When I downloaded this I expected a cheap app, that I would uninstall after a minute, that would take bad pictures, and translate words wrong. The translations seemed very accurate and my pictures looked clearer on the app than my phone. Props to whoever created this. However, I used Spanish to English which I did not have to download, but other languages you may have to.
